We offer a free “return visit guarantee.” However, we cannot guarantee that we will always be able to capture the images you were hoping for on a second attempt. Unfortunately, we are still required to charge the costs due to the time and resources invested.
Please be aware that unexpected findings can also be seen during a keepsake ultrasound. If this happens, we will always inform you.
Keepsake ultrasounds are not covered by health insurance. Please see below for our rates.
Non medical ultrasound
At VIVRE, in addition to medical ultrasounds, we also offer non medical ultrasounds. This means simply looking at your little one in the womb with an ultrasound, just for fun!
Whether you are curious about your baby’s gender, want to see how they are moving in the womb, or would like to see who they might look like, you are very welcome. We enjoy performing keepsake ultrasounds at VIVRE.
Would you like to bring your family or friends to the ultrasound? Of course, they are more than welcome too! We recommend bringing a maximum of 6 additional people. It is a lovely way to share this exciting anticipation together.

Gender reveal ultrasound
Are you curious about the gender of your little one? Then you can visit us from 14 weeks onwards for a gender determination ultrasound!
We are experienced in performing gender determination ultrasounds, and so far, we have never been wrong! ;)
In some cases, we may not be able to determine the gender due to the baby's position or because the umbilical cord is between the legs. If this happens, we will schedule a complimentary follow-up ultrasound at short notice.
In addition to determining the gender, we will capture some beautiful images of your baby, and you will receive several printed photos to take home.
Would you like to turn it into a "gender reveal" party? We can provide you with a sealed envelope containing a card that reveals the gender. If you have another idea in mind, we are of course happy to accommodate it!

2D Ultrasound
A 2D ultrasound produces a black-and-white image. It allows you to look “through” the baby, so you can also see internal structures, such as the heart. 2D ultrasound imaging is always used for medical scans as well.

- 1st trimester:An additional reassurance scan can provide comforting confirmation that everything is progressing well.
- 2nd trimester:You can usually see the baby’s entire body on the ultrasound image, resulting in beautiful pictures.
- 3rd trimester: As the baby grows, space in the womb becomes more limited. It is no longer possible to see the entire baby in a single image. However, we can still view the baby in sections and get an increasingly clear impression of your baby's appearance.
3D/4D Ultrasound
A 3D/4D ultrasound is a special type of scan that provides a realistic view of your baby. Instead of only showing outlines, it also displays the baby's volume and facial features. Does your baby have chubby cheeks? Who does he or she resemble? During the scan, you may even be able to see your baby’s facial expressions, such as frowning, smiling, pouting, or yawning.
A 3D ultrasound produces a still image in volume and natural skin tones. A 4D ultrasound shows these images in motion, creating a live video effect. Using the latest Live HQ™ technology, we can add a “fifth dimension” to the image: realistic lighting. This allows us to display your baby’s facial expressions and features even more clearly.
The most beautiful images are usually obtained between 25 and 30 weeks of pregnancy, as the baby’s face begins to fill out during this period. Please note that the quality of a 3D/4D ultrasound depends on several factors; the baby’s position, the baby's level of activity, the location of the placenta, and the amount of amniotic fluid.
If we are unable to capture satisfactory images during your appointment, you are welcome for a rescan. We can't guarantee that a second attempt will always produce the desired images. In such cases, we will unfortunately still need to charge for the appointment due to the time and resources invested.
All photos and video's taken during the scan will be provided to you on a USB drive, allowing you to enjoy and revisit the images whenever you like.
In addition, you will receive two printed color photographs and several black-and-white ultrasound prints to take home.
